Chandu holds the CFA charter and an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School, London — one of the world's leading finance schools. He also holds an engineering degree from India.

Before founding Parfin Capital, Chandu spent four years in commercial lending in the United Kingdom — working directly with banks, NBFCs, and investment banks on private credit. He understands how lenders think, what kills a deal before it reaches the credit committee, and how to package a credit story that stands up to scrutiny.

Alongside his lending work, Chandu also spent time on the commercial finance side. He was building the financial analysis that helped companies understand their cost structures, evaluate capital projects, and manage working capital before approaching a bank. That experience now underpins Parfin Capital's Commercial Finance Advisory practice: the same institutional-grade financial thinking applied directly to a promoter's profit and loss, pricing decisions, and cash flow management.

He returned to India to bring that institutional-grade thinking to the Indian SME credit market — a segment that has always needed it and never had easy access to it.
